Interdisciplinary Art.

We are just getting into this but we like it so far.

It’s literature.

Backyard Studios:
The Zine.

YXE Backyard Studios: The Zine is a fun black and white booklet magazine put together by Jeni Ly. The plan is to have one zine per season to a total of four zines. The Zine started as a response to feeling overwhelmed by the digital world. So, these locally printed zines are designed to ground you to the physical or inner world, away from the digital world. If you like puzzles, games, and silly things, then this zine is for you!

Email jennyply at gmail dot com if you rather do etransfer and local pick up :)

Takey Takey Prize Machine

because it’s fun.

We built Takey Takey Prize Machine because who doesn’t want to win prizes? She has a catchy little tune and was in Nuit Blanche 2023 and saw up to 800 people!

Build it.

Building things is fun for us. We love the process of planning and working out logistics to make things work. Takey takey fits through a standard door, comes apart in two pieces (top and bottom) and can be put into the back of a standard truck bed. It also is on wheels so we can move it around easily.
